In the 12th minute Mark Palomares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Abellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ATLETICO MAHONES's zone, Gonzo Valerón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Abellan came out of the goal and Gonzo Valerón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATLETICO MAHONES's goalkeeper Lauro Abellan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Palomares struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lauro Abellan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Alfahuara C.F.. After a rather tough play, La Alfahuara C.F.'s Chan Baltanas got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Gregorio Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seve Montiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Cortes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seve Montiel having to make a save. Mark Palomares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match, Mark Palomares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauro Abellan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis De Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, La Alfahuara C.F.'s Magdaleno Teresa tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Palomares to make the kick off. Edmundo Cortes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Seve Montiel made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Luis De Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, La Alfahuara C.F.'s Mark Palomares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lauro Abellan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mark Palomares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Abellan having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, La Alfahuara C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaquiel Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Mark Palomares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seve Montiel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gregorio Infante managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO MAHONES's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Infante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seve Montiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Infante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Chan Baltanas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Infante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Seve Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, ATLETICO MAHONES's Seve Montiel threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gregorio Infante, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATLETICO MAHONES walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
