Spectators: 8306 (Terracing: 6200, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) 12 Monkeys's Markus Berglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ditlef Tillisch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Korting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Christopher Korting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Baunø, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Markus Berglund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 12 Monkeys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lasse Wiingaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owe Bernig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mågerne's Christopher Korting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditlef Tillisch in the 16th minute of play. When Franz Karms fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 12 Monkeys's protests and gave Franz Karms a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mågerne booed when 12 Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Karms didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Caspar Sieborg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mågerne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 12 Monkeys the free kick. Caspar Sieborg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sigvart Botlev's late challenge caught a Mågerne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvart Botlev helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Sigvart Botlev. In the 24th minute, Erik Horsum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mågerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 26th minute, 12 Monkeys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Horsum fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mågerne's Christopher Korting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Baunø in the 34th minute of play. When 12 Monkeys's Ditlef Tillisch in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Owe Bernig made the kick off in the second half. When Nick Riisager fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mågerne's protests and gave Nick Riisager a yellow card for diving instead. Lasse Wiingaard came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mågerne's Owe Bernig. But to his dismay, Owe Bernig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Erik Horsum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Mågerne's Erik Horsum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lasse Wiingaard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a little luck, Mågerne's Christopher Korting got control of the ball when Balder Buurskov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Caspar Sieborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Owe Bernig made a precise shot to the right of Lasse Wiingaard. 12 Monkeys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 80th minute, Markus Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Owe Bernig came free, but Lasse Wiingaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ditlef Tillisch in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Korting prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Horsum hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Owe Bernig kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Mågerne's Christopher Korting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mågerne from getting a goal against them. Bobby Baunø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Christopher Korting made a huge save. Christopher Korting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Grimstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the 12 Monkeys players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mågerne.
