Odo Wiest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Krapp having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Ingo Grohganz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Holzkopf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg the free kick. In the 24th match minute, FC Holzkopf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingo Grohganz to maneuver through the defense. When Lennert Scheil fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Holzkopf's protests and gave Lennert Scheil a yellow card for diving instead. 29 minutes into the match, FC Holzkopf's goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Schiller came free, but Eugen Krapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Axel Kalisch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg's Achim Kuckhoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dejan Schiller came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg fans jumped to their feet. Eugen Krapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Zylajew in the 55th minute of play. Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg's Achim Kuckhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Kalisch in the 57th minute of play. Alexander Zylajew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achim Kuckhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Kalisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Herrmann charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Herrmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, FC Holzkopf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Herrmann to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Krapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Bullinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg's Alexander Zylajew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugen Krapp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 80 minutes into the match, Viel Spaß nochIch bin weg's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Kalisch came free, but Achim Kuckhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
