Daniele Schoch hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Nankatsu SC's Asmus Strampfer got control of the ball when Matt Leers tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Heiko Jojade came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the North Ferriby United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Jojade couldn't finish the play. Franz Wesener charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franz Wesener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Franz Wesener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, North Ferriby United's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Wesener came free, but Ewald Kuckuck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Laschke in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Sigurd Banzmann notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck. Ewald Kuckuck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heiko Jojade was the one to do the kick off. Ewald Kuckuck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franz Wesener in the 53rd minute. Ewald Kuckuck was a little too slow when Sigurd Banzmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-3. Franz Wesener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. North Ferriby United's Ewald Kuckuck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save North Ferriby United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Jojade in the 66th minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Asmus Strampfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Yannick Weigl notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Nankatsu SC's Asmus Strampfer. Asmus Strampfer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaspar Brantmeier hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Franz Wesener who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ewald Kuckuck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franz Wesener got free with Ewald Kuckuck in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heiko Jojade took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asmus Strampfer. Asmus Strampfer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Jojade in the 91st minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Asmus Strampfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
