Tibor Rubner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Vielank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Rubner to maneuver through the defense. If Marc Lamparsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Heibrink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Lamowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Fritz Rudolf Binninger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vielank's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Rudolf Binninger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Lamparsky got free with Bernd Dambowsky in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julius Lamowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Heibrink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julius Lamowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Merker's late challenge caught a Vielank's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Roger Merker hit a great ball. Eintracht Bremerhaven's Marc Lamparsky got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Lamparsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Dambowsky having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Julius Lamowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eintracht Bremerhaven's Samuel Heibrink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernd Dambowsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Lamparsky in the 79th minute. When Julius Lamowski came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vielank fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Lamowski couldn't finish the play. Bernd Dambowsky made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marc Lamparsky sent off a good shot on target. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vielank fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eintracht Bremerhaven had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
