Klemens Scharpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Immanuel Breitwieser made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Torge Quoos made the kick off in the second half. Klemens Scharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee showed Meinolf Tremmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes FC Ostsee 06 got a freekick which was hit by Meinolf Tremmel. Sören Scheelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Holger Kamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Ostsee 06's Holger Kamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Scheelen in the 66th minute of play. Sören Scheelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Kamin having to interfere. Lothar Picht came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Holger Kamin could save by the left post. Sören Scheelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Holger Kamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Ostsee 06's Meinolf Tremmel got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Meinolf Tremmel off the ground. The supporters of Engelrod FC booed when FC Ostsee 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meinolf Tremmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lothar Picht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ostsee 06's zone, Lothar Picht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Kamin came out of the goal and Lothar Picht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Kamin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lothar Picht in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Leon Dorneth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Engelrod FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Ostsee 06 to leave the ground with a draw.
