Holger Kamin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, FC Ostsee 06's Klemens Scharpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Piepenburg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Holger Kamin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Langhammer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrich Descharmes in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Kamin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Langenbaum FC's Omar Piepenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Quoos in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ken Morchner during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ostsee 06's Ken Morchner got a free kick in the 18th minute. Holger Kamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Langhammer in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ostsee 06's zone, Timo Langhammer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Kamin came out of the goal and Timo Langhammer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Pahlke spun around in front of the goal 23 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Ostsee 06's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Pahlke in the 26th minute of play forced FC Ostsee 06's goalkeeper Holger Kamin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Patrick Pahlke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Langenbaum FC booed when FC Ostsee 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ödön Trachsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Kamin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Descharmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ulrich Descharmes charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulrich Descharmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Langenbaum FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ulrich Descharmes hit a great ball. Langenbaum FC's Patrick Pahlke got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Kamin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Langhammer's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Heiko Schünemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Patrick Pahlke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timo Langhammer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Ostsee 06's goalkeeper Holger Kamin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Langhammer. Holger Kamin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Descharmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With 61 minutes on the clock, Hartwig Sondermeyer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Langenbaum FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Langenbaum FC:s Omar Piepenburg showed great skill when he stopped Gianni Berosch:s penalty. Timo Langhammer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Kamin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ulrich Descharmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Oswald Notthoff suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Langenbaum FC made a substitution. Ralek Juncker replaced Oswald Notthoff. After a rather tough play, FC Ostsee 06's Anton Jäger got a free kick in the 69th minute. Omar Piepenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torge Quoos in the 72nd minute of the match. Ralek Juncker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes Langenbaum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gianni Berosch who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Ostsee 06's corner Anton Jäger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Piepenburg quite easily take care of the ball. Ralek Juncker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Kamin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. FC Ostsee 06 were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Langenbaum FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gianni Berosch took the corner. Ulrich Descharmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Kamin made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ulrich Descharmes sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Langenbaum FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Descharmes. Holger Kamin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Langhammer in the 96th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play FC Ostsee 06's Ken Morchner was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Timo Langhammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Langenbaum FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
