Benoit Luthiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udo Wider having to interfere. In the 10th minute Hennes Giacomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cillian Seifert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benoit Luthiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Suruç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francois Spieler to maneuver through the defense. Graben's Udo Wider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Graben from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, Gilberto Gygax was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Graben's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suruç the free kick. The supporters of Suruç booed when Graben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Gygax didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Graben's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacky Tomasi was slow to take the kick. During this time Suruç's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jacky Tomasi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Graben's Udo Wider did a great save. Benoit Luthiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Gygax was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gilberto Gygax kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Bernhard Jolidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cillian Seifert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernhard Jolidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Cillian Seifert came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Graben's Hennes Giacomini. But to his dismay, Hennes Giacomini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Suruç's Benoit Luthiger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Benoit Luthiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gauthier Dupasquier made a kick off. If Benoit Luthiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 57 played minutes Graben got a freekick which was hit by Hennes Giacomini. Gauthier Dupasquier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udo Wider having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Benoit Luthiger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Udo Wider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wolf Zulle's late challenge caught a Suruç's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolf Zulle helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Graben's Wolf Zulle got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Dupasquier in the 79th minute of play forced Graben's goalkeeper Udo Wider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gauthier Dupasquier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gauthier Dupasquier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Udo Wider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suruç's Cillian Seifert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Jolidon in the 85th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Suruç's Benoit Luthiger made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Udo Wider was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gauthier Dupasquier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udo Wider having to interfere. Benoit Luthiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Udo Wider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suruç's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
