Spectators: 8414 (Terracing: 6311, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francois Strebel started the match with the kick off. Artur Walter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanic Zimmermann in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Francois Strebel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karakartal JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francois Strebel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Karakartal JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yanic Zimmermann came free, but Artur Walter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Walter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Vlastarakis in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Yanic Zimmermann made a precise shot to the right of Artur Walter. Karakartal JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Adamantios Vlastarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raffaelo von Felten. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Yanic Zimmermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Walter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanic Zimmermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Karakartal JK defense, Yanic Zimmermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Walter. The Karakartal JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Walter should have stopped the shot. Francois Strebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Raffaelo von Felten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Artur Walter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanic Zimmermann in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamantios Vlastarakis in the 55th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yanic Zimmermann got free with Artur Walter in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adamantios Vlastarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Artur Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 60 minutes on the clock, Armin Hellmann commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Armin Hellmann kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Eschikofen's Hector Petroni got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Adamantios Vlastarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yanic Zimmermann got free with Artur Walter in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Karakartal JK's Fabrizio Fridli got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to Eschikofen getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luca Lepage hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francois Strebel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raffaelo von Felten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Lepage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Artur Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Eschikofen's Adamantios Vlastarakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Walter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Yanic Zimmermann notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Karakartal JK's Artur Walter. Artur Walter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timon Jardan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Hector Petroni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
