An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain Van de Gaer in the 30th minute of play forced Termes's goalkeeper Sander Tuerlinckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebbe Van der Roost got free with Pascal Tombuer in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Tomas De Cat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pascal Tombuer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Charles-Louis Clijsters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascal Tombuer was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brain Van de Gaer to make the kick off. Sebbe Van der Roost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Charles-Louis Clijsters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Werbeek's Pascal Tombuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarne Goemyne kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tomas De Cat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pascal Tombuer. RSC Werbeek's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peter Thielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sander Tuerlinckx having to interfere. Pascal Tombuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Louis Clijsters in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Termes booed when RSC Werbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waud Heremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, RSC Werbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarne Goemyne to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, one of RSC Werbeek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Charles-Louis Clijsters sped through RSC Werbeek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pascal Tombuer. If Peter Thielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sander Tuerlinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Van de Gaer in the 89th minute of play. Peter Thielens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sander Tuerlinckx made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Termes's zone, Peter Thielens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sander Tuerlinckx came out of the goal and Peter Thielens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Termes's Sebbe Van der Roost sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Tombuer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Termes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
