The referee ignored SFV MARIA ELLEND's protests and gave Frank Burgstaller a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes SFV MARIA ELLEND got a freekick which was hit by Frank Burgstaller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Gutrath in the 10th minute of play forced SFV MARIA ELLEND's goalkeeper Hans-Werner Plischke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Fröhlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Oliver Uedickoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Norman Mallinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Gutrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Werner Plischke having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, SFV MARIA ELLEND's Dominik Raimann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Uedickoven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Marc Schmielau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Mallinger in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Werner Plischke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the SFV MARIA ELLEND defense, Roland Gutrath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans-Werner Plischke. The SFV MARIA ELLEND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans-Werner Plischke should have stopped the shot. Norman Mallinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, Jan Januszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SFV MARIA ELLEND and the Hubdorfl FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SFV MARIA ELLEND getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jan Januszewski hit a great ball. Hans-Werner Plischke came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hubdorfl FC's Norman Mallinger. But to his dismay, Norman Mallinger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Raimann to make the kick off. Norman Mallinger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Hans-Werner Plischke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Roland Gutrath who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SFV MARIA ELLEND's Hans-Werner Plischke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SFV MARIA ELLEND's Hans-Werner Plischke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SFV MARIA ELLEND from getting a goal against them. When Marcel Fröhlich came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SFV MARIA ELLEND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Fröhlich couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Hubdorfl FC booed when SFV MARIA ELLEND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Achteresch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Roland Gutrath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hubdorfl FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Gutrath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Werner Plischke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SFV MARIA ELLEND's zone, Norman Mallinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Werner Plischke came out of the goal and Norman Mallinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
