Nicolae Slicaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emile Schoonbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emile Schoonbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Castel in the 38th minute of the match. Emile Schoonbeek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Vulcănescu in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Fata FC got a freekick which was hit by Manole Ciungu. Emile Schoonbeek made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ariel Castel sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Ariel Castel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aurel Vulcănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fata FC's Emile Schoonbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Castel in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Ciungu was the one to do the kick off. Fata FC's attentive David Codreanu managed to snatch the ball when Filip Lovin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Fata FC's corner Alex Popilean fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Găină quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fata FC's Dumitru Lucrețiu got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurel Vulcănescu in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emile Schoonbeek saved Fata FC from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Alex Popilean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Popilean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasret İlenç got free with Dan Găină in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Găină showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Ciungu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes FC Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Barbu. The supporters of FC Fortuna booed when Fata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasret İlenç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fata FC's Emile Schoonbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Castel in the 80th minute of play.
