In the 11th match minute, Marafet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Danciu to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Danciu helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Mihail Aldulescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Liviu Cunea to make any attempt to save it. Marafet FC's Liviu Cunea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Marafet FC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Cozmâncă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liviu Cunea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Aldulescu in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Aldulescu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Cunea saved Marafet FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Aldulescu in the 60th minute of play forced Marafet FC's goalkeeper Liviu Cunea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Teodor Cozmâncă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marafet FC's Liviu Cunea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marafet FC's zone, Marcel Turlea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Cunea came out of the goal and Marcel Turlea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Marafet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Lepuș to maneuver through the defense. Felix Crușeveanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Voinescu having to make a save. The supporters of Marafet FC booed when U.T.A.-S.U.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Mendrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Cozmâncă in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Cunea saved Marafet FC from getting behind. In the 87th minute Teodor Cozmâncă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Cunea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Marafet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Cozmâncă came free, but Liviu Cunea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s Teodor Cozmâncă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liviu Cunea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Mihail Aldulescu came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the U.T.A.-S.U.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Aldulescu couldn't finish the play.
