The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlad Floricel got free with Daniel Sterescu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Sterescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Len Whitfield in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergen Kartal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Sterescu. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Sergiu Borcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Calini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Codruț Teişanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Şumălan took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergiu Borcea. Sergiu Borcea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sergiu Borcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Şumălan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Eduard Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergen Kartal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Zelau got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Postolache. Vlad Floricel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Horia Gruescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zelau and the FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horia Gruescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlad Floricel to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergen Kartal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sterescu having to interfere. Vlad Floricel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Daniel Sterescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII. Sergen Kartal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Şumălan's late challenge caught a FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Şumălan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Zelau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Şumălan to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Şumălan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergiu Borcea firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zelau the free kick. A collision led to FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sergen Kartal hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Sergen Kartal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergen Kartal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's Sergen Kartal made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Sterescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Zelau getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gică Frântu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eduard Şumălan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelau's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Şumălan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Borcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergen Kartal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Sterescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 97 played minutes Gică Frântu scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Sergiu Borcea who was too lazy, 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zelau players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC ADORF CC IIIIIIII.
