Spectators: 7869 (Terracing: 5903, Seating: 1810, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tytus Faron took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, POLI TM's Alkın Yaren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Dacian Mărăscu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POLI TM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's goalkeeper Eliodor Tatu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match POLI TM got a corner. Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicodim Popete ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nicodim Popete got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eliodor Tatu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tytus Faron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Gabriel Rizescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Tatu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by POLI TM's Adam Cărtărescu. But to his dismay, Adam Cărtărescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gabriel Rizescu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eliodor Tatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volli Hinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Alkın Yaren made a precise shot to the right of Eliodor Tatu. Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkın Yaren in the 27th minute of play forced Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's goalkeeper Eliodor Tatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes POLI TM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gavino Chico who took care of the corner kick. Eliodor Tatu was a little too slow when Alkın Yaren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 47th minute, POLI TM's Alkın Yaren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alkın Yaren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Alberto Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Petrolul Ploiesti and the POLI TM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Alkın Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Tatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Volli Hinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Tatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the game, Seyfi Ünalan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 62 minutes into the game, Alkın Yaren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POLI TM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Petrolul Ploiesti the free kick. Eliodor Tatu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alkın Yaren went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When POLI TM's Adam Cărtărescu in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eliodor Tatu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Allan Lumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Rizescu in the 69th minute of play. Eliodor Tatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkın Yaren in the 72nd minute of play. Eliodor Tatu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkın Yaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Alkın Yaren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POLI TM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's Eliodor Tatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkın Yaren in the 85th minute of play. The throw-in from Flo Flo in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's Pedrinho Pombal. After having played for 89 minutes, Tytus Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Petrolul Ploiesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Faron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the POLI TM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
