Victor Diaconu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Viorel Pâslaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurjena's Octavian Muja got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viorel Pâslaru was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Alin Fărcășan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alin Fărcășan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Fabian Pacurar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Micu went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Hashu booed when Hurjena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Micu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Fărcășan in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viorel Pâslaru saved Hurjena from getting behind. Alin Fărcășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Pâslaru having to interfere. Albert Gherase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Hashu's Codruț Ciorăscu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Constantin Micu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Codruț Ciorăscu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Viorel Pâslaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hashu. Alin Fărcășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Pâslaru having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Viorel Pâslaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Fărcășan in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Victor Diaconu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hashu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Diaconu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alin Fărcășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codruț Ciorăscu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viorel Pâslaru. Viorel Pâslaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Viorel Pâslaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Fărcășan in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Romeo Moți notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Hashu's Fabian Pacurar. Fabian Pacurar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd match minute, Hashu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Mușetescu to maneuver through the defense. If Octavian Muja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Romeo Moți got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hashu getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Victor Diaconu hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hashu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hurjena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
