Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Doinaș in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Murgescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Luncașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Zamfira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoş Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Basil's Cristian Zbughină made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Zamfira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12thth minute of the game Nicodim Doinaș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basil's Narcis Murgescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Luncașu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Narcis Murgescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozies. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Luncașu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narcis Murgescu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 27th minute of the match, Dragoş Elenescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Zamfira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicodim Doinaș to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Basil's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Doinaș came free, but Narcis Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Nicodim Doinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Basil booed when Bozies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Jupâneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Narcis Murgescu managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Bozies's Gabriel Luncașu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicodim Doinaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Murgescu having to interfere. Basil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Luncașu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Bozies players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
