In the 5th minute, Hust SC's Marian Iorda seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marian Iorda the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hust SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marian Iorda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hust SC! Hust SC's Paul Slătineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Ispir in the 9th minute of play. Ionuț Ispir's late challenge caught a Hust SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Ispir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hust SC booed when Trepadusii - BTF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Ispir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Bouleanu's late challenge caught a Trepadusii - BTF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iurie Bouleanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hust SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Iurie Bouleanu hit a great ball. Ionuț Ispir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Slătineanu. Hust SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Virgil Daraban struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Paul Slătineanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trepadusii - BTF. Ionuț Ispir was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Trepadusii - BTF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ionuț Ispir hit a great ball. When Trepadusii - BTF's Andrei Costeiantu in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hust SC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nechifor Elian in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Slătineanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Minda in the 28th minute of play forced Trepadusii - BTF's goalkeeper Toader Dică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hust SC's Paul Slătineanu got control of the ball when David Cănănău tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Slătineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Costeiantu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes, Nechifor Elian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trepadusii - BTF and the Hust SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nechifor Elian kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Andrei Costeiantu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trepadusii - BTF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hust SC the free kick. After 40 played minutes Trepadusii - BTF got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Costeiantu. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Cănănău was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, one of Trepadusii - BTF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trepadusii - BTF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Daraban in the 59th minute of play forced Hust SC's goalkeeper Paul Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Emilian Fărcașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Trepadusii - BTF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. David Cănănău hit a great ball. David Tănase hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Valeriu Minda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Bouleanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Cănănău in the 87th minute of play forced Hust SC's goalkeeper Paul Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Cănănău in the 91st minute of play. Virgil Daraban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Trepadusii - BTF booed when Hust SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Drâmbă didn't get a good kick on the ball.
