But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Tutuianu couldn't finish the play. Florin Babarada hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. David Cănănău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, FC Steaua Lehliu's Nechifor Chibulcutean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toader Dică made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Trepadusii - BTF were furious when Marian Pavel was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for FC Steaua Lehliu. Valentin Gar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toader Dică. 0-2. Ionuț Ispir succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Virgil Daraban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, David Cănănău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trepadusii - BTF and the FC Steaua Lehliu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Steaua Lehliu booed when Trepadusii - BTF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Aronescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Ispir, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ionuț Ispir got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cătălin Aronescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Toader Dică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionuț Ispir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Albulescu made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Steaua Lehliu's Florin Babarada. A sloppy throw-in by Iulian Albulescu in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Steaua Lehliu's Timoteo Toro. Trepadusii - BTF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
