Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sobhi Abdul Jalil started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dirar Rashid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moneer Zayed was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. RUBIN UNITED FC were furious when Yousef Bakri was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 8 minutes of play, Líbano's Ali Miyaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moneer Zayed was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Dirar Rashid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moneer Zayed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RUBIN UNITED FC booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Miyaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Dirar Rashid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Moneer Zayed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes of play, Líbano's Akram Munahid made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A collision led to RUBIN UNITED FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Talib Shams hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Akram Munahid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Moneer Zayed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Akram Munahid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Líbano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. RUBIN UNITED FC's Moneer Zayed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirar Rashid in the 47th minute of play. The RUBIN UNITED FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Líbano were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dirar Rashid was the one to do the kick off. Moneer Zayed was a little too slow when Bashar Al Azra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-7. 54 minutes into the game, Akram Munahid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Moneer Zayed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RUBIN UNITED FC's Moneer Zayed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bashar Al Azra in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes RUBIN UNITED FC got a freekick which was hit by Talib Shams. Moneer Zayed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirar Rashid, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Akram Munahid struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Moneer Zayed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Líbano. 70 minutes into the match, RUBIN UNITED FC's goalkeeper Moneer Zayed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akram Munahid. In the 72nd minute, Líbano's Dirar Rashid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Akram Munahid took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Moneer Zayed to make any attempt to save it. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akram Munahid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes RUBIN UNITED FC got a freekick which was hit by Sobhi Abdul Jalil. Salah el Din Idris charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salah el Din Idris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mohammad Juwayn, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Akram Munahid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Moneer Zayed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bashar Al Azra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Líbano's Lotfi El Makhtoub slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moneer Zayed. That made the score 0-11 after 91 minutes of play. Moneer Zayed made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Bashar Al Azra sent off a good shot on target.
