Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sobhi Abdul Jalil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Moneer Zayed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hisham Mumtaz in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Hisham Mumtaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moneer Zayed. RUBIN UNITED FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hisham Mumtaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mostafa Jabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moneer Zayed having to interfere. Afşin Derem scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moneer Zayed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moneer Zayed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Afşin Derem scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moneer Zayed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind RUBIN UNITED FC's goalkeeper Moneer Zayed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Atletico Beirut fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Atletico Beirut's Afşin Derem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moneer Zayed came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Beirut's Wakil Husam. But to his dismay, Wakil Husam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 38th minute, Wakil Husam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afşin Derem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hisham Mumtaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moneer Zayed made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Afşin Derem sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, RUBIN UNITED FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafiq Qudamah to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Yazid Abdul Hakim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moneer Zayed. RUBIN UNITED FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yazid Abdul Hakim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 66 minutes RUBIN UNITED FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hafiz Abou Adal who took care of the corner kick. 68 minutes into the match, Afşin Derem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moneer Zayed. RUBIN UNITED FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afşin Derem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 73rd minute of the match, Wakil Husam got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moneer Zayed was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Atletico Beirut booed when RUBIN UNITED FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uthman Khalif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wakil Husam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moneer Zayed having to interfere. Rafiq Qudamah kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tawfiq Zidan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Beirut's supporters rose to their feet, but Tawfiq Zidan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moneer Zayed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hisham Mumtaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moneer Zayed came out and tried to block the shot, but Hisham Mumtaz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Afşin Derem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moneer Zayed. Afşin Derem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Hisham Mumtaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Moneer Zayed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Beirut played a much better game than RUBIN UNITED FC and deserved their victory. The RUBIN UNITED FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
