After 47 minutes, Vlassis Xanthatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GIANNIOTIKA FC and the Pyrus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Pyrus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GIANNIOTIKA FC were winning 0-1.

Kleon Takounakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermis Zisimopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alkaios Koufos made a huge save. Ermis Zisimopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alkaios Koufos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, GIANNIOTIKA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Takounakis came free, but Apostolos Martinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
