Christodoulos Tsatsoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Errikos Eleftheropoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Emmanouil Ifantis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Πευκοχώρι's Christodoulos Tsatsoulis. Christodoulos Tsatsoulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Thalis Verivakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thalis Verivakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Michalakos to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Emmanouil Ifantis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christodoulos Tsatsoulis. Emmanouil Ifantis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Errikos Eleftheropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's supporters rose to their feet, but Errikos Eleftheropoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christodoulos Tsatsoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitris Tassoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Verivakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Michalakos during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's Vassilis Michalakos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lambis Kouvarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's Dimitris Tassoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Kouvarakis in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lambis Kouvarakis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Πευκοχώρι booed when ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errikos Eleftheropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thalis Verivakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dimitris Tassoulis made a huge save. Thalis Verivakis in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dimitris Tassoulis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lambis Kouvarakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dimitris Tassoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambis Kouvarakis in the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Thalis Verivakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Πευκοχώρι's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thalis Verivakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lambis Kouvarakis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dimitris Tassoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Πευκοχώρι. Dimitris Tassoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Kouvarakis in the 87th minute of play. Lambis Kouvarakis had several of the ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Dimitris Tassoulis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tolis Toufekas charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolis Toufekas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Tolis Toufekas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Errikos Eleftheropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Πευκοχώρι players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
