Errikos Avgerinos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Errikos Avgerinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selahaddin Tokur, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Nilson Paraíba put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Errikos Avgerinos. P.A.O.K FC's Nilson Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Selahaddin Tokur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errikos Avgerinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nilson Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 played minutes Byzantium F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manolis Tapinos. Errikos Avgerinos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when P.A.O.K FC's Selahaddin Tokur shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selahaddin Tokur in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Errikos Avgerinos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes Byzantium F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Akis Dellas. A collision led to Byzantium F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vassilis Pioukas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Byzantium F.C.'s zone, Nilson Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errikos Avgerinos came out of the goal and Nilson Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Nilson Paraíba made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Byzantium F.C.'s Errikos Avgerinos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, P.A.O.K FC's Selahaddin Tokur got a free kick in the 38th minute. Errikos Avgerinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustratios Ksagorarakis in the 40th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Byzantium F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Demis Paltakis. After a rather tough play, Byzantium F.C.'s Demis Paltakis got a free kick in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Selahaddin Tokur made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Byzantium F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Balaban Haliloğlu came free, but Errikos Avgerinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Byzantium F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Tapinos to maneuver through the defense. Balaban Haliloğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nilson Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, P.A.O.K FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Verros came free, but Michalis Papaefthimiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Papaefthimiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Verros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balaban Haliloğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Errikos Avgerinos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balaban Haliloğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, P.A.O.K FC's Balaban Haliloğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Errikos Avgerinos. Errikos Avgerinos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 79 minutes into the match, Byzantium F.C.'s goalkeeper Errikos Avgerinos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Paraíba. Nilson Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Errikos Avgerinos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Balaban Haliloğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Errikos Avgerinos came out and tried to block the shot, but Balaban Haliloğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 82nd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Hans-Hermann Möhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. P.A.O.K FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Hermann Möhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilson Paraíbas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Errikos Avgerinos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Errikos Avgerinos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Balaban Haliloğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 93 minute of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Selahaddin Tokur sped through Byzantium F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Errikos Avgerinos. P.A.O.K FC played a much better game than Byzantium F.C. and deserved their victory. The Byzantium F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
