In the 12th minute, Babbis Karasimos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babbis Karasimos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Themos Rentzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babbis Karasimos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Rentzis having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Borbokis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhragotina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pallesviakos the free kick. Dhragotina's Themos Rentzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Karasimos in the 26th minute of play. Thrasivoulos Athanasiadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dhragotina getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Loukianos Verikokos hit a great ball. When Paris Missiakos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pallesviakos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Missiakos couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thrasivoulos Athanasiadis was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Babbis Karasimos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Pallesviakos's goal looked a bit too open when Thrasivoulos Athanasiadis came free, but Dimitris Trichas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Katsanevas got free with Dimitris Trichas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dhragotina's Thrasivoulos Athanasiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Paris Missiakos made a precise shot to the right of Themos Rentzis. Dhragotina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.
