Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Prodromos Galanis got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Vartholomi FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Fivos Papaggelakos hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Vartholomi FC's goalkeeper Petros Kaliakoudis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prodromos Galanis. Sokratis Vamvakas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Vartholomi FC's Petros Kaliakoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Babasidis in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Thodoris Babasidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stathis Ntouvaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fokas Zoras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Christodoulou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Prodromos Galanis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petros Kaliakoudis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Petros Kaliakoudis made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Prodromos Galanis sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, Vartholomi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Ntouvaridis to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Fokas Zoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glyfada FC's Prodromos Galanis managed to work through Vartholomi FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Prodromos Galanis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Giorgos Christodoulou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fokas Zoras, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Glyfada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fokas Zoras came free, but Giorgos Christodoulou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Stathis Ntouvaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Christodoulou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prodromos Galanis got free with Petros Kaliakoudis in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes Vartholomi FC got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Zoras. Prodromos Galanis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Petros Kaliakoudis 39 minutes into the match. Prodromos Galanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Petros Kaliakoudis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stathis Ntouvaridis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Ntouvaridis in the 52nd minute of play forced Glyfada FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Christodoulou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prodromos Galanis's late challenge caught a Vartholomi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prodromos Galanis helped the player get up and apologised. Prodromos Galanis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Stathis Ntouvaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thodoris Babasidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Kaliakoudis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Prodromos Galanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fokas Zoras struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Giorgos Christodoulou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vartholomi FC. Giorgos Christodoulou came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Vartholomi FC's Fokas Zoras. But to his dismay, Fokas Zoras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prodromos Galanis in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petros Kaliakoudis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Vartholomi FC booed when Glyfada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charalambos Meimarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Kaliakoudis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prodromos Galanis's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Thodoris Babasidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Kaliakoudis having to interfere. Petros Kaliakoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prodromos Galanis in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vartholomi FC's goalkeeper Petros Kaliakoudis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Ntouvaridis in the 89th minute of play forced Glyfada FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Christodoulou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fokas Zoras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Christodoulou having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Glyfada FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
