The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Anastasios Mavrou threw the ball into play from the sideline. AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Gerasimos Mitrakos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sotos Papakrivos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sotos Papakrivos hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Errikos Fotiou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordy Valès's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Jordy Valès left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIANTAS A.O.N.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jordy Valès hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Nikiforos Mendrinos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KANARINIA FC's Errikos Fotiou. Errikos Fotiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Errikos Fotiou came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Nikiforos Mendrinos. But to his dismay, Nikiforos Mendrinos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 30 minutes of play, AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Jordy Valès made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errikos Fotiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Errikos Fotiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Valès in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Anastasios Mavrou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KANARINIA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIANTAS A.O.N.P. the free kick. In the 34th minute, Anastasios Mavrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errikos Fotiou didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Jordy Valès shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Jordy Valès sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordy Valès in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Errikos Fotiou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sotiris Kafkalas made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Alkaios Gonias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Errikos Fotiou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AIANTAS A.O.N.P. reached it. 54 minutes into the match, KANARINIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilias Kanellidis came free, but Errikos Fotiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Nikopolidis in the 56th minute of play forced KANARINIA FC's goalkeeper Errikos Fotiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaios Nikopolidis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Errikos Fotiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Valès, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errikos Fotiou stood somewhat misplaced when Jordy Valès came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Adamantios Loubardeas's late challenge caught a AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adamantios Loubardeas helped the player get up and apologised. AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s Nikos Tziortzopoulos was substituted for Nikiforos Mendrinos. Errikos Fotiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaios Nikopolidis in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes in the game, Nikos Tziortzopoulos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Errikos Fotiou having to interfere. Errikos Fotiou made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nikos Tziortzopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Jordy Valès struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Errikos Fotiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIANTAS A.O.N.P.. AIANTAS A.O.N.P.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
