The supporters of KANARINIA FC booed when Ayeranσs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Nikakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renos Tzanetos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Christos Papagiannatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sotiris Kafkalas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, KANARINIA FC's goalkeeper Errikos Fotiou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chrisostomos Machlas. 53 minutes into the game, KANARINIA FC's Adamantios Belevonis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renos Tzanetos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papagiannatos having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, KANARINIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Mavros came free, but Errikos Fotiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errikos Fotiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Mavros, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, KANARINIA FC's goalkeeper Errikos Fotiou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Petsalnikos. Iakovos Papadopetrakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Errikos Fotiou firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Takis Mavros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Errikos Fotiou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takis Mavros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-8 in the 84 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Petsalnikos got free with Errikos Fotiou in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Chrisostomos Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KANARINIA FC's Errikos Fotiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Nikakis in the 93rd minute of play. Errikos Fotiou made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Chrisostomos Machlas sent off a good shot on target. If Chrisostomos Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayeranσs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
