A collision led to Rodiakos FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Iakovos Kabourakis hit a great ball. Rodiakos FC's Kostas Drakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Papadimakis in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Menelaos Kokkalopoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lefteris Perperidis. Menelaos Kokkalopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Giannis Manolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.O Ligoudista's goalkeeper Lefteris Perperidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A.O Ligoudista's Iordanis Kapsokefalos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Themis Sotiropoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Themis Sotiropoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Themis Sotiropoulos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, A.O Ligoudista's Lefteris Perperidis got control of the ball when Menelaos Kokkalopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menelaos Kokkalopoulos got free with Lefteris Perperidis in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iordanis Kapsokefalos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordanis Kapsokefalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rodiakos FC booed when A.O Ligoudista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Kapsokefalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prodromos Mourikis made a kick off. Lefteris Perperidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menelaos Kokkalopoulos in the 52nd minute of play. After 60 played minutes Rodiakos FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Manolas. When Giannis Manolas came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Rodiakos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Manolas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of A.O Ligoudista booed when Rodiakos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Manolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lefteris Perperidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menelaos Kokkalopoulos in the 66th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Iordanis Kapsokefalos in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rodiakos FC's Sotiris Charisteas. Lefteris Perperidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menelaos Kokkalopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Iakovos Kabourakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kostas Drakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Papadimakis in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Menelaos Kokkalopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.O Ligoudista's Lefteris Perperidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Rodiakos FC's goalkeeper Kostas Drakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikitas Aggeliadis. The crowd rose to their feet as Konstantinos Papadimakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostas Drakos. That made the score 1-1 in the 90 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Menelaos Kokkalopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodiakos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Menelaos Kokkalopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lefteris Perperidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the A.O Ligoudista players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
