FC Võnnu Devils's Lennart Jaakson got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Innar Mustikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Lehis, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Tiit Tälli came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Võnnu Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiit Tälli couldn't finish the play. Tõnn Orav made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiit Tälli in the 12th minute. Jakob Lehis might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Innar Mustikas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakob Lehis ran back to his position shaking his head. Saku Sporting's Tõnn Orav proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Saku Sporting from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Indrek Esko made a precise shot to the right of Tõnn Orav. Saku Sporting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Lennart Jaakson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tõnn Orav having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Tiit Tälli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Võnnu Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiit Tälli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tõnn Orav was a little too slow when Lennart Jaakson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Saku Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Tiit Tälli came free, but Tõnn Orav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Jaakson in the 38th minute of play forced Saku Sporting's goalkeeper Tõnn Orav to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Saku Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Guido Sauna. Virgo Lätte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joe Muruaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tõnn Orav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Tiit Tälli made the kick off in the second half. Tõnn Orav came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Võnnu Devils's Joe Muruaas. But to his dismay, Joe Muruaas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 61 played minutes Saku Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Jan Alle. Tõnn Orav showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Jaakson in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiit Tälli in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tõnn Orav saved Saku Sporting from getting behind. When Johannes Algaja came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Võnnu Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Algaja couldn't finish the play. Tiit Tälli might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tõnn Orav. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiit Tälli ran back to his position shaking his head. Kert Klaabu lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of FC Võnnu Devils:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saku Sporting:s goal. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Saku Sporting's Lennart Kalmus got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Innar Mustikas. Lennart Jaakson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tõnn Orav having to interfere. Kajar Alles hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. FC Võnnu Devils's Virgo Lätte got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Tiit Tälli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saku Sporting's Tõnn Orav was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Võnnu Devils's Joe Muruaas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiit Tälli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tõnn Orav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Muruaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Võnnu Devils's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
