Spectators: 8448 (Terracing: 6337, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Askanios Paraskos started the match with the kick off. Dobromir Purzycki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Askanios Paraskos in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Pasxalis Kyritsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DENIAK FC's Likourgos Xydis suffered a fractured collar bone after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 11th match minute, AC OMONOIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pasxalis Kyritsis to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, DENIAK FC's goalkeeper Alexandros Rigopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pasxalis Kyritsis. AC OMONOIA's Leonidas Papageorge got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobromir Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkas Econome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takis Sakellariou kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. AC OMONOIA's Dobromir Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Petrohilos in the 28th minute of play. Leonidas Papageorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arkas Econome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to DENIAK FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Chronis Fotopoulos hit a great ball. Dimitris Petrohilos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitris Petrohilos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonidas Papageorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 37 played minutes DENIAK FC got a freekick which was hit by Arkas Econome. Dimitris Petrohilos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

DENIAK FC's Alexandros Rigopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Papageorge in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, AC OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Eteokles Rousakis came free, but Dobromir Purzycki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Sakellariou kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, DENIAK FC's Alkibiades Kouretas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC OMONOIA's zone, Dimitris Petrohilos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dobromir Purzycki came out of the goal and Dimitris Petrohilos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Petrohilos got free with Dobromir Purzycki in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Petrohilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dobromir Purzycki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonidas Papageorge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Petrohilos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Purzycki having to interfere. Askanios Paraskos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 87th playminute.
