After 10 minutes, Dionisio Dicastillo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panathinaikos f.c's Edgar Rahne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mánthia's Fryderyk Podwojski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Rahne in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Dicastillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Rahne was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Dionisio Dicastillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Mánthia were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dionisio Dicastillo made the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Dicastillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Edgar Rahne made a huge save. A hard shot 54 in the game by Dionisio Dicastillo from a close distance when the talented Edgar Rahne managed to make a qualified save. Panathinaikos f.c's players were relieved. Edgar Rahne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iphitos Gravari went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Dionisio Dicastillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Edgar Rahne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mánthia's Dionisio Dicastillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Dicastillo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Rahne saved Panathinaikos f.c from getting behind. Vasilis Vrettos tried in the 82nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Edgar Rahne a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-11. 86 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Pantelakos came free, but Edgar Rahne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babbis Antipas's late challenge caught a Mánthia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babbis Antipas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mánthia booed when Panathinaikos f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Antipas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Rahne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Dicastillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With his leg Edgar Rahne managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Mánthia's Dionisio Dicastillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dionisio Dicastillos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Edgar Rahne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mánthia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
