Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 顾岚南 in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Rahne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, 顾岚南 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empire of Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With a little luck, Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin got control of the ball when Antonio De Messemaecker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's 顾岚南 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Rahne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Empire of Soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Furo Bolas in the 30th minute. When Gică Vădan came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Empire of Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gică Vădan couldn't finish the play. Edgar Rahne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 顾岚南 in the 34th minute of the match. Edgar Rahne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 顾岚南 in the 37th minute of play. 顾岚南 took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Rahne. Edgar Rahne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. When 石义寒 fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panathinaikos f.c's protests and gave 石义寒 a yellow card for diving instead. 石义寒 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When 顾岚南 came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Empire of Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 顾岚南 couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Antonio De Messemaecker made the kick off in the second half. Panathinaikos f.c's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 石义寒 in the 52nd minute. 顾岚南's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Rahne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos f.c's goalkeeper Edgar Rahne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 顾岚南. Empire of Soccer's Ilmar Pregel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 石义寒, made in the 62nd minute of the game. 顾岚南 might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Rahne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 顾岚南 ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Rahne made an important save on a dangerous shot by 顾岚南 in the 63rd minute. Empire of Soccer's 顾岚南 got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Empire of Soccer's Xanthos Fikias was substituted for Natalio Blanco. In the 75th minute, Empire of Soccer's 顾岚南 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Rahne. Edgar Rahne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Edgar Rahne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Cruzado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Teukros Diplarakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edgar Rahne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, 顾岚南 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Rahne. Panathinaikos f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 顾岚南 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Empire of Soccer would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
