After 13 played minutes A.S. ROMA got a freekick which was hit by Tzocho Chitakov. Argir Bidzhov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitan Brusev in the 16th minute of the match. Argir Bidzhov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pantaley Gatzev in the 19th minute. If Gruyo Kondarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Pantaley Gatzev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 31st minute Zahari Dankov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetan Stranchanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Shipchenski sokol's Vitan Brusev got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zahari Dankov sped through Shipchenski sokol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tzvetan Stranchanski. If Zahari Dankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Shipchenski sokol's goal looked a bit too open when Gruyo Kondarev came free, but Tzvetan Stranchanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half A.S. ROMA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitan Brusev to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Shipchenski sokol booed when A.S. ROMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyuboslav Ivanchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitan Brusev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Argir Bidzhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Shipchenski sokol getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vitan Brusev hit a great ball. Gruyo Kondarev in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tzvetan Stranchanski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peycho Odzhakov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Tzocho Chitakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tzvetan Stranchanski skillfully saved the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Shipchenski sokol's goal looked a bit too open when Zahari Dankov came free, but Tzvetan Stranchanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milko Lipchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzvetan Stranchanski having to interfere. Zahari Dankov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tzvetan Stranchanski came out and tried to block the shot, but Zahari Dankov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. Zahari Dankov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzvetan Stranchanski having to interfere. When Milko Lipchev fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. ROMA's protests and gave Milko Lipchev a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gruyo Kondarev got free with Tzvetan Stranchanski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Shipchenski sokol's goal looked a bit too open when Zahari Dankov came free, but Tzvetan Stranchanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, A.S. ROMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzvetoslav Púkov to maneuver through the defense. Tzvetan Stranchanski was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Milko Lipchev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milko Lipchev really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When the final whistle sounded A.S. ROMA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shipchenski sokol.
