Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) İlkan Egelioğlu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Giray Ergenç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selçuk Şenyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, İlkan Egelioğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hüsamettin Esay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes into the game, Bedirhan's İlkan Egelioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüsamettin Esay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemal İnanoğlu in the 28th minute of play forced Bedirhan's goalkeeper Selçuk Şenyurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemal İnanoğlu scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selçuk Şenyurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selçuk Şenyurt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giray Ergenç went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes Midyat got a freekick which was hit by Basri Egelioğlu. 41 minutes into the match, Midyat's goalkeeper Hüsamettin Esay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nafiz Onural. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giray Ergenç in the 42nd minute of play forced Bedirhan's goalkeeper Selçuk Şenyurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Midyat were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Giray Ergenç made the kick off in the second half. Midyat's Cemal İnanoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If İlkan Egelioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüsamettin Esay came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Bedirhan's Nafiz Onural. But to his dismay, Nafiz Onural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nafiz Onural struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hüsamettin Esay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedirhan. Sait Tanırer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Midyat's Giray Ergenç ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Selçuk Şenyurt. Selçuk Şenyurt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Bedirhan's İlkan Egelioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nafiz Onural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hüsamettin Esay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Batur İsfendiyar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bedirhan and the Midyat players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Midyat's Selçuk Şenyurt threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giray Ergenç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. İlkan Egelioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsamettin Esay having to interfere. Hüsamettin Esay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlkan Egelioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsamettin Esay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlkan Egelioğlu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Giray Ergenç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Midyat walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
