Ciftlikköy's Şener Irak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Askeroğlu in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Kuzey Şemseddin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciftlikköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuzey Şemseddin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match Azmi Bozok shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cenan Nebi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Cengiz Zorlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciftlikköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Cengiz Zorlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cenan Nebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuzey Şemseddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Nebi having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Sungurlu SK got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Baysungur. After a rather tough play, Sungurlu SK's Boğaçhan Songün got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengiz Zorlu in the 26th minute of play forced Sungurlu SK's goalkeeper Cenan Nebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şener Irak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necdet Askeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sungurlu SK's Cenan Nebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengiz Zorlu in the 29th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baransel Uzsoy couldn't finish the play. The Sungurlu SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciftlikköy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
