The supporters of Nankatsu booed when Sarayönü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenap Nasr didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rauf Oyalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Cenap Nasr came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sarayönü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cenap Nasr couldn't finish the play. Cenap Nasr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tahir Ankaralı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nankatsu's Tahir Ankaralı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hızır Tanju in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nankatsu's zone, Severo Tonio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahir Ankaralı came out of the goal and Severo Tonio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Semavi Mevlit hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cenap Nasr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahir Ankaralı having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andaç Erbelgin scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rauf Oyalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cenap Nasr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahir Ankaralı having to interfere. Severo Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asım Arif Ulucağ charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asım Arif Ulucağ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Asım Arif Ulucağ hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Severo Tonio came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sarayönü fans jumped to their feet. In the 69th minute, Berkem Türk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tahir Ankaralı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarayönü. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
