Yüce Özgiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziya Akabe in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Talas's goal looked a bit too open when Aytunç Üke came free, but Sabit Hıfzullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fethiyespor booed when Talas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziya Akabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yüce Özgiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Akabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Fethiyespor got a freekick which was hit by Vacid Tekgül. After a rather tough play, Talas's Efe Ergül got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sabit Hıfzullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Roderigo in the 25th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Talas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataman Kerimhan to maneuver through the defense. Yüce Özgiray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emirhan Nurettin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Talas's goalkeeper Sabit Hıfzullah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyit Hepyener. Eusebio Roderigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Roderigo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabit Hıfzullah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Ataman Kerimhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Fethiyespor's Rafet Semih nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabit Hıfzullah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Talas's Sabit Hıfzullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyit Hepyener in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Roderigo in the 67th minute of play forced Talas's goalkeeper Sabit Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytunç Üke in the 68th minute of play forced Talas's goalkeeper Sabit Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Dinçer Tuğyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sabit Hıfzullah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aytunç Üke went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Rafet Semih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabit Hıfzullah. Talas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafet Semih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Sabit Hıfzullah came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fethiyespor's Aytunç Üke. But to his dismay, Aytunç Üke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ziya Akabe struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Yüce Özgiray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinçer Tuğyan in the 96th minute of play forced Talas's goalkeeper Sabit Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
