The supporters of Poeraoe booed when Lubuklopian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Dewa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Kusumah notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lubuklopian's Elliot Alderson. Elliot Alderson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rochy Perangin-angin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Alderson having to interfere. Dede Haryanto made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Dian Barus sent off a good shot on target. Elliot Alderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Kusumah, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Poeraoe's Dede Haryanto got control of the ball when Fadh Prima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Alexander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dede Haryanto came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Alexander slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 41st minute. Lubuklopian's Martin Alexander got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dian Barus to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fadh Prima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Poeraoe's goal looked a bit too open when Dian Barus came free, but Dede Haryanto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadh Prima in the 59th minute of play forced Poeraoe's goalkeeper Dede Haryanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lubuklopian's Elliot Alderson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Lubuklopian from getting a goal against them. Dede Haryanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Alexander in the 62nd minute of the match. West Java kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Reynaldo Kusumah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elliot Alderson. Lubuklopian's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute Martin Alexander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dede Haryanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Elliot Alderson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adith Barus charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adith Barus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Adith Barus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fery Simamora kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dian Barus in the 86th minute of play forced Poeraoe's goalkeeper Dede Haryanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poeraoe's Dede Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by West Java in the 89th minute of play. Dede Haryanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Poeraoe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
