Spectators: 9195 (Terracing: 6898, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) An unexpectedly hard shot by Nash Pukallus in the 3rd minute of play forced Inamotos's goalkeeper Belton Everett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes, Kangaroos's Nichol Rhoades shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Belton Everett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kangaroos reached it. Belton Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradshaw Kean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Kangaroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Chapman to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kangaroos's Nash Pukallus fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Nash Pukallus took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belton Everett. Belton Everett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Belton Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradshaw Kean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthews Gummow hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Inamotos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichol Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Belton Everett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichol Rhoades, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bradshaw Kean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Minne kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Nash Pukallus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belton Everett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murdock Hitchen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bradshaw Kean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kangaroos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Nash Pukallus came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kangaroos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nash Pukallus couldn't finish the play. Andy Behla hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Inamotos's Belton Everett got control of the ball when Nash Pukallus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Curtis Berresford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichol Rhoades, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Murdock Hitchen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Kangaroos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murdock Hitchen couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Inamotos booed when Kangaroos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nash Pukallus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Murdock Hitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kangaroos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murdock Hitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belton Everett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradshaw Kean in the 71st minute of play. After 87 minutes Inamotos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nichol Rhoades who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nichol Rhoades got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belton Everett quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Irwin Stevens scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Vickery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ned Blestowe took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Belton Everett to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Murdock Hitchen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Belton Everett. That made the score 1-5 in the 97 minute of play. The Inamotos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kangaroos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
