The audience was convinced that Feliks Wojton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ewald Vestskov was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The throw-in from Oluf Lebro in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Poland's Leonard Winszman. In the 46th minute, Feliks Wojton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ewald Vestskov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Denmark players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poland were winning 0-3.

52 minutes into the game, Loui Lintlav cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Daniel Kieca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poland:s goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Ewald Vestskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Wojton in the 67th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Ewald Vestskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Soszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewald Vestskov having to interfere. Denmark made a substitution. Benny Valfos replaced Lennart Danekjær. Poland made a substitution. Mieszko Dombroski replaced Lech Pisarcik. The corner led Poland's Mieszko Dombroski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ewald Vestskov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Dresager in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Damazy Joks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Joks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewald Vestskov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stuparu Chyba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Dresager in the 92nd minute of play. Håkon Bjernemose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Poland left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Denmark.
