Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Hvižďák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Renan da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Žilák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC XY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frederico Britto was slow to take the kick. During this time Imbituba - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Frederico Britto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marek Žilák quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Richard Čert kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marek Žilák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan da Fonseca in the 30th minute of the match. When Imbituba - FSCMZ's Renan da Fonseca in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC XY. Carlos Paiva placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Renan da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marek Žilák. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Renan da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Žilák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in FC XY's zone, Renan da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Žilák came out of the goal and Renan da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomáš Dubček charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomáš Dubček the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Dubček to maneuver through the defense. Renan da Fonseca scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marek Žilák, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes, Frederico Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituba - FSCMZ and the FC XY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Frederico Britto hit a great ball. Marcelinho Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislav Pajger's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. André Luís Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luís Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play FC XY's Tomáš Dubček was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 97 played minutes FC XY got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Dubček. Imbituba - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC XY for a fine match.
