In the 15th minute, Luiz Eduardo Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bambuhy's Joaquim Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quilino Villar in the 20th minute of play. Hustaz Camarasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Velloso having to interfere. Joaquim Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quilino Villar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bambuhy's Joaquim Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quilino Villar in the 34th minute of play. Joaquim Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Crespo in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Bambuhy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quilino Villar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Cambero kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Frédson Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baleren Ocaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Quilino Villar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.F Intercity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quilino Villar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Crespo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Joaquim Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Crespo in the 93rd minute of the match. Anchel Amorebieta's late challenge caught a Bambuhy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anchel Amorebieta helped the player get up and apologised. The C.F Intercity players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
