Amancio Tarin hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Matuzalém Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Velloso in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elar Quero saved Mandrake fc from getting behind. Mandrake fc's Geofredo Jurado got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adebayo Goiano made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Mandrake fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Serra to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Neves to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nelsinho Neves hit a great ball. When Berdaitz Valcarcel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Mandrake fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berdaitz Valcarcel couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo De Pablo. After recieving a nice pass, Jataiense Futebol Clube's De-la-Cruz Goiano tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Geofredo Jurado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elar Quero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matuzalém Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Matuzalém Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elar Quero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mandrake fc's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adebayo Goiano in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of Mandrake fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mandrake fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
