Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Lee in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Jegham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Hleli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Mark Chian came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ali Jegham. 0-2. In the 59th minute, Mark Chian made a precise shot to the right of Ali Jegham. Tunisia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ali Jegham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Lee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Jegham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Wong Devan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Hleli in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Adam Lee got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Jegham was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Adam Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 72 in the game by Adam Lee from a close distance when the talented Ali Jegham managed to make a qualified save. Tunisia's players were relieved. Adam Lee who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Ali Jegham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adam Lee who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ali Jegham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Lee got free with Ali Jegham in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Tan in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Jegham saved Tunisia from getting behind. Mohamed Hleli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wong Devan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Chian struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ali Jegham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Singapore. The Singapore supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Singapore would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
