A collision led to Vamo A Calmarno getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cresenciano Secada hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's Leandro Gurutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Isusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gurutz in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Pablo Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Galtero in the 13th minute of play. Fernando Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gurutz in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reyes F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Mergildo was slow to take the kick. During this time Vamo A Calmarno's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th match minute, Vamo A Calmarno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asko Kukkamäki to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Gurutz in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leandro Gurutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Isusko was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Bonifacio Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Ceferino Heli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vamo A Calmarno's Marcelo Mergildo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fernando Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Gurutz in the 38th minute of the match. Bart Basson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute Pablo Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Basson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Reyes F.C. defense, Leandro Gurutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Isusko. The Reyes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Isusko should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Galtero to make the kick off. Octavio Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Tartalo came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Vamo A Calmarno from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Enol came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Heli made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pablo Enol. In the 70th minute, Leandro Gurutz made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Isusko. With a little luck, Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson got control of the ball when Octavio Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line.
