The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Gauargi was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Blas Maldonado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Maldonado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Blas Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leonel Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Anibal Castulo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Severino Estevez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 16 in the game by Amador Umea from a close distance when the talented Leonel Gauargi managed to make a qualified save. Alcorta's players were relieved. After 16 minutes, Cristo Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcorta and the Tornquist FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Alcorta got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Etxekopar. Alcorta's Leonel Gauargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Alcorta from getting a goal against them. Anibal Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Estevez having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Eguerdi during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Amador Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonel Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tornquist FC booed when Alcorta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leonel Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Karlo in the 36th minute of the match. Amador Umea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Leonel Gauargi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blas Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Gauargi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Amador Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tornquist FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blas Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leonel Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amador Umea to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Lico during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alcorta getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jeronimo Lico hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Alcorta's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Umea came free, but Leonel Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Etxekopar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Anselmo Berto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alcorta's Leonel Gauargi didn't even have to move. Amador Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonel Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Amador Umea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Amador Umea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Alcorta's Leonel Gauargi. Leonel Gauargi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tornquist FC's Amador Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amador Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Umea struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Leonel Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tornquist FC. Anibal Castulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Severino Estevez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tornquist FC's Severino Estevez got control of the ball when Anibal Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Anibal Castulo rounded Tornquist FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tornquist FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
