An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Polakowski in the 3rd minute of play forced Marchewki Zagłady's goalkeeper Zygmunt Sawicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Marchewki Zagłady fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zygmunt Sawicki should have stopped the shot. Zygmunt Sawicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Polakowski in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes Marchewki Zagłady's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolek Pacholewski who took care of the corner kick. Zachariasz Polakowski made a great header on Srebrny Grom DK's corner, it was just that Marchewki Zagłady's Zygmunt Sawicki managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Srebrny Grom DK booed when Marchewki Zagłady was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Lizewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Igor Rywin fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marchewki Zagłady's protests and gave Igor Rywin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marchewki Zagłady's Igor Rywin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Zygmunt Sawicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Polakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Zachariasz Polakowski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zygmunt Sawicki. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachariasz Polakowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Srebrny Grom DK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
