When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when 洪昂文 sped through CAN FC.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Staley. After having played for 41 minutes, 洪昂文 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JIANGSU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 洪昂文 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute 洪昂文 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Staley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, CAN FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when 洪昂文 came free, but Stefan Staley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulisses Campidelis made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, JIANGSU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Xavier came free, but 巩超崇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Raimundo do Nascimento notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CAN FC.'s Stefan Staley. Stefan Staley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. JIANGSU FC's 巩超崇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Xavier in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Carlos Alzorbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Dylan Schneider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Staley. Dylan Schneider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 66th match minute, JIANGSU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庞思景 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in JIANGSU FC's zone, Constantino Mayoral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 巩超崇 came out of the goal and Constantino Mayoral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes CAN FC. got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Campidelis. 巩超崇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Campidelis in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Dylan Schneider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Staley. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 76th minute Mauro Matoš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 巩超崇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Staley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo do Nascimento got free with Stefan Staley in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Campidelis scored 1-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 巩超崇, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Staley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 冯亦西 in the 95th minute of the match. At last the ball reached Dylan Schneider at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of CAN FC.. 1-6.
