Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas Lundin in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Burutzagi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Petran got free with Segundo Katia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klas Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Diablofaryd F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Hames got free with Segundo Katia in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Petran in the 12th minute of play. Gualterio Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Lundin in the 15th minute of play. Gualterio Burutzagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Lundin in the 15th minute of the match. Gualterio Burutzagi came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Diablofaryd F.C.'s Miguel Demesio. But to his dismay, Miguel Demesio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Demesio came free, but Gualterio Burutzagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Demesio in the 23rd minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Gualterio Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Haroldo Terra made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Katia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Terra in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Miguel Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Demesio came free, but Gualterio Burutzagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Diablofaryd F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabian Rosalio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Segundo Katia got control of the ball when Horea Petran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Demesio to make the kick off. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
